Fix My Street In Lymington

Is there something about Lymington that needs to be fixed?

Is there offensive graffiti? Are the recycling bins full? Are the roadworks not up to scratch? Then don't wait for someone else to report it! Lymington Foundation encourages everyone in Lymington to use the Fix My Street website to report problems.

Why? Because the non-profit site helps to make the process of reporting local problems more transparent. On the site, you can see:

Whether someone else has already reported the issue that needs to be fixed. You can see when issues were reported. You can also add to an earlier report, if you feel you've got extra information to add that will help to fix the problem. You can see other reports in your area. The Fix My Street site then passes on your report to the council, so that they can figure out who should fix it. You can discuss your experience of reporting things using Fix My Street on this blog.

You can see the most recent issues that you have reported on Fix My Street on the map above.

Station Street was "fixed" on Thursday, 30th July. A very quick, poor, dirty and unsurprisingly unfinished job [by the local authority). They were supposed to come back today to sweep-off the access stones and unsurprisingly they could not be bothered. Even worse, the public drains and manholes are still fully covered. Hmmm. And all this in the peak tourist season and at the hottest time of the year. The fresh tarmac does not dry quickly enough. But, my street has been fixed.
